At today's low interest rates, the owner's share of the monthly payment would be about $300 - which is far less than rent! Descriptions above are for each unit. However, one unit has a back patio and the other does not. To learn more about Priest River, visit, and be sure to check the blog: July, 2011 - New roofing is being installed. Both units have had new carpet within the past 2 years, both have been repainted within the last year. The exterior was repainted in 2010.

The Great Outdoors Size: Two acres

This beautiful treed parcel is situated on a well-maintained, chip-sealed County Road - just minutes from either Priest River or the Newport/Oldtown area. However, since it is a loop road, traffic is limited to residents - You won't find a steady stream of traffic passing by. Old Priest River Road meets Highway 41 South of Newport - for a quick commute to Coeur d'Alene as well. The duplex sits well back from the road and is served by a circular drive around a front grassy area - a perfect spot for kids to play ball. Behind the house is a small grassy area - and trees. A quiet spot for relaxing in the evening or taking a walk in nature.

The Extra Foundation Size: 30 X 60

This property was originally two separate parcels of one acre each. The second acre is situated behind the first. There you'll find the beginnings of an 1800 s.f. shop, garage, or ?? The foundation is there - and possibly a septic tank. The original owner intended to build a second duplex, but got only as far as the foundation. County regulations may or may not allow for a second duplex, but this would make a shop to please any "tinkerer." Could also be turned into a mini-storage with proper permitting.

Garage Size: 30' deep Floor: main

Garages each have new roll-up doors - no openers. Floors are cement and walls are sheetrocked. Each unit has a small storage room in the back of the garage and large workbench. Side windows let the sun shine in. Both have stairs leading to the kitchen.

Hallway Size: 4' X 9' Floor: main

Wide hallways mean you'll have an easy time moving beds and dressers! Each also has a 2'4" linen closet for added storage.
